  When I first approached Legato Dental Center it was because I was having serious issues with what few remaining teeth I had left. I had bad teeth basically from birth and very bad dental experiences. At a young age I lost all my upper teeth and all but three of my lowers. Poor fitting dentures and terrible teeth made me ashamed to smile. Bad dental experiences left me extremely phobic about anything dental related. My experience with Legato started from the minute I walked through the office door. I was warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel very comfortable. When I first met Wendy ( Dr. Bishop's right hand) she made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. She was very understanding and non judgmental about my phobia as well as the condition of my teeth. Dr. Bishop arrived for the exam and he as well put me immediately at ease. His was very diligent explaining everything he was doing during the exam and why he had to do it. He then explained my options based on his findings. I had already decided on "all on four" implants based on my own research and Dr Bishop agreed that I was a good candidate. He also explained the procedure in detail and what to expect for pain, healing etc. We went ahead with the procedure a few months later. Dr. Bishop worked closely with the implant surgeon to ensure everything would go as smoothly as possible. Every visit prior to the surgery was always pleasant and very informative with Dr Bishop really listening to my input. Minuscule adjustments I hadn't noticed were made for my comfort and esthetics. My procedure start to finish took about a year. During that time my husband went in to Dr Bishop for an appliance for sleep apnea. The care and thoroughness was also shown to him. My daughter also went in for regular dental work ( yes they do that too!) and absolutely love not just the welcoming staff and the great work Dr Bishop does but the price was no more than the regular dentist she had. I cannot say enough about Dr Bishop and all the wonderful staff at Legato! It is so worth it to just try their office one time! You will be hooked! I call them the anti dentist dentist office :) On a personal note...I was asked by Dr Bishop what I wanted my teeth to look like. Since I have never had nice teeth in my life Dr Bishop constructed teeth based on what he felt would make a great smile for me. I now have a beautiful set of teeth that I am not ashamed to show off! No one notices my teeth were done. They notice something different but can't put their finger on what it is. My teeth look very natural and I have the smile I was meant to have! Thank you!!! I am so grateful!

  I was referred to Dr Bishop with the idea of having implants as I had missing teeth and personally very little confidence. From the moment I walked into Legato it was a totally new "dentist experience". The staff are very welcoming and the practice has more of a spa feel than a dental one. Dr Bishop was fantastic from day one in explaining my options and truly listening to my concerns. One of the best questions he asked is what I would like the end result to look like - how refreshing to be given a choice ! On the day of surgery I was really nervous but really did not have to be. Dr Bishop and his two assistants were compassionate, kind and explained every step of the way and I seriously felt no pain during the procedure at all. I was warned that there might be bruising the next day and that I would be in discomfort for probably up to two weeks. Well I had no bruising and felt some pain for about a week, although with pain meds not bad at all. What can I say about the implants - I love them ! Dr Bishop has given me my confidence and smile back and delivered exactly what I wanted. I cannot recommend Dr Bishop and his staff enough - A BIG THANK YOU from one very happy patient.
